Police were called to investigate two reported burglaries on Wednesday.

At 10 a.m., Police went to a home on Mount Hill, in Pembroke, where the complainant told them that earlier that day somebody had entered his home and stolen a watch and cash.

In the second incident, thieves broke into a home on Roberts Avenue, in Devonshire, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. while the owners were out. A gold necklace and cash were stolen.

Inquiries into both incidents are underway.
