Man robbed at Dockyard

A 24-year-old man lost personal items and cash in an early morning robbery.

The Sandys resident was with a friend in the Clocktower area of Dockyard around 4 a.m. on Tuesday when they were approached by two strangers.

"One of the suspects took a quantity of cash, an I-Pod and a gold chain from one of the [men] before both suspects made good their escape on a black motorcycle," said a Police spokesperson. "The victim was not injured, nor was his acquaintance."

The spokesperson described the first suspect as a dark skinned male, approximately 6ft 3in tall with short hair and facial hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a red shirt, and is believed to be in his mid-20s or early 30s.

Continued the spokesperson: "The other suspect is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 5ft 10in tall; it is believed he is in his early- to mid-30s."
