Cash stolen from car outside Pembroke home

Tools, CDs and cash were stolen from a parked car in Pembroke.

A Police spokesperson said: "At 7 a.m. on Friday, Police received a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle. It appears that an unknown culprit gained entry into the complainant's car while it was parked outside his Middle Park Lane residence."

Two people injured in Scaur Hill crash

A collision between a taxi and a car near Scaur Hill Drive on Thursday left both drivers injured.

A Police spokesperson said: "It appears the taxi was travelling west on Somerset Road and the car was travelling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. "The taxi collided with an embankment, while the car collided with a wall."

The taxi driver, a 78-year-old Sandys parish man, complained of injuries to his neck and back, while the driver of the car, a 22-year-old Southampton woman, suffered bruises to her left arm.
