Drink-drive arrests

Six people were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving last week.

Between August 2 and August 9 there were 23 collisions which resulted in people being injured, an additional 23 collisions resulted in vehicles being damaged.

Police also received reports that 28 vehicles were taken without their owners' consent, five of which have been returned.

The majority of the vehicles, 16, were taken from Pembroke. Cars accounted for two of the 28 vehicles taken.
