Police are investigating an accident which left one person with minor injuries.

On Thursday a car and motorcyle collided on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, near the junction with Idlewood Drive.

A Police spokesman said: "It appears that the car was traveling east on North Shore Road and the motorcycle was exiting a nearby driveway when the vehicles collided."

The bike rider, a 50-year-old Devonshire man, sustained a swollen left leg and complained of pain to his back. The car driver, a 50-year-old Hamilton Parish woman, was not injured.
