Championship dog shows next week
International championship dog shows will take place next week, hosted by the Bermuda All Breed Club.
Six shows will take place in the main ring at the Botanical Gardens on November 5, 6, 8 and 9.
The event will feature dogs along with their handlers and owners from Canada, the United States and Bermuda.
The judges for the show include Canadians Jack Ireland, Joan Beech, Melvin Beech, Michael Gelinas and Sandy Gelinas, and David Cavill from the UK.
Judging begins at 8.30 a.m. with one show on November 5 and November 9 and two shows on November 6 and 8.

Admission is free and only competing dogs are allowed on the show grounds.
Computers, iPod stolen
A variety of electronic equipment was reported stolen from a Pembroke residence Wednesday afternoon.
According to Police theives broke into an apartment on Richmond Road while it was unoccupied, stealing a Dell computer, Sony laptop, iPod and a quantity of watches.
Inquires into the incident are underway.
