A transistor cable box at Belco's Par-La-Ville substation exploded yesterday, but Belco said no one was hurt and no power was lost.
"We had an explosion, but it was a little one," a Belco spokeswoman said. "There was no supply lost, nobody was hurt and there was no damage done, except to the box itself."
The spokeswoman said it was still to early to tell what caused the problem, but a new box would be installed in the near future.
