Man beaten up in city street
A 42-year-old man was beaten up by two men in Hamilton early last Wednesday morning.
Police reported the Sandys parish man was walking along Burnaby Street around 1.20 a.m. on Wednesday when he was confronted by two strangers on an auxiliary cycle demanding cash.
The pair then got into a fight with the man and as a result he injured his left arm. He later complained of chest pain.
He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Said a Police spokesperson: "The suspects are described as two black men dressed in dark-coloured clothing; one approximately 5ft 8in tall of slim build and the other approximately 6ft tall of stocky build. Inquiries into this incident are underway."
