Wade-Fray's season ends in defeat

Bermuda's Jenaya Wade-Fray finished as the all-time leader in games played on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team on the weekend.

Wade-Fray played in 131 games but unfortunately she saw her team go down to Oklahoma State 70-63 on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Arizona.

And the defeat was more disappointing as the Lady Mocs had an 18-point lead at half time as they were trying for their second-ever trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The 13th-seeded Lady Mocs couldn't withstand the charge of fourth-seeded Oklahoma State in the second half. The Cowgirls used their defence to get back in the game, forcing 16 second-half turnovers.

Wade-Fray scored six points going two (three point shots) for eight from the field. The Bermudian also snatched eight rebounds and had four assists and one steal.
