Two vehicles collided, resulting in injury, on Friday morning in Pembroke on North Shore Road near Empire Grocery Store.
It appears that a car and a motorcycle were both travelling east on North Shore Road when the vehicles collided as the motorcycle attempted to overtake while the car attempted to make a right turn into the Grocery store parking lot.
The rider of the motorcycle, the 21-year-old Devonshire man, sustained injures to his face, chest and shoulder and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated and released.
The driver of the car, a 36-year-old Smith's parish woman, was not injured.
The cycle received moderate damage while the car received relatively minor damage.
