Sea drama
carrier Leader L on Friday went around the world over the weekend. Royal Canadian Navy photographers captured the drama of the rescue after the frigate HMCS Iroquois raced to the scene overnight on Thursday and spent 24 hours hunting for survivors from the tragedy.
On Saturday, Royal Gazette photographer Arthur Bean was on the scene as the Iroquois brought the survivors and some of the victims of the tragedy to Bermuda.
