$500 for having more than seven grams of cannabis on school property.

David Burnell Adams, 21, was searched at 11 p.m. on August 22 at the rear of Francis Patton School and two plastic bags with "a suspicious plant like substance'' found near him.

Meanwhile a small amount of cannabis was found on a cycle which Adams denied knowing about.

The cannabis was found to weigh 7.6 grams.
