Train prices fall for Hamilton city tour route
year -- but passengers will no longer get into city attractions for free.
The company has reduced its all-day ticket price from $25 to $17.
However, passengers who previously got into attractions such as the National Gallery, Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute and the Botanical Gardens will have to pay individual entry tickets.
It is understood the change has been made because the venues were not earning enough money from the old arrangement.
The company is reporting a brisk trade this year because train tours can now be pre-booked on cruise ships. Two daily tours are now reserved exclusively for cruise ship passengers.
Meanwhile, all-day tickets for the Dockyard train cost $25 and includes admission to Bermuda Maritime Museum. The route includes a trip to Somerset village.
