Bermuda Electric Light Company shares rebounded 50 cents to close at $20.50 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, as shares improved across the board.

Belco closed at $20.50 on volume of 1,987 shares but the biggest trade of the day was in the Bank of Butterfield, which was unchanged at $33 on volume of 3,320.
The Exchange Index closed up 9.58 points to 1181.60. Trading volume was worth $220,825.
Also registering gains were: Bank of Bermuda, up 25 cents to $22.75 on volume of 794; Argus, up 25 cents to $10 on volume of 1,200; and Telco, up 12.5 cents to $35.125 on volume of 1,000. Chips Ltd. was unchanged at $6.25 on volume of 1,150.
