The storm was located 350 nautical miles to the west-south-west of Bermuda yesterday afternoon and is expected to make its closest point of approach at 2 a.m. tomorrow, when the centre will pass 209 miles to the west-north-west.
The storm was almost stationary for the past several days and is now moving directly north at three knots. Hurricane Michael is a potential threat to Bermuda, and it is likely that the Island will experience some wet and blustery conditions as it moves past.
