cent per litre yesterday to 117.7 cents a litre, as the world oil price remained depressed, which is reflected in crude oil prices and subsequently at the gasoline pumps.
The price of diesel fuel remained the same at 90.3 cents per litre, while kerosene actually dropped 0.1 cent a litre to 69.4 cents a litre.
All three current prices are only marginally higher than they were a year ago.
The Minister of Finance sets the maximum chargeable price for the three products, based on movements in the price of world oil, allowing service stations and other distributors to set competitive prices up to a limit.
