United Bermuda Party MP Allan Marshall asked why Government had not produced the statement on the legality of schemes which was promised after Attorney General Dame Lois Browne Evans took the matter to Cabinet three weeks ago.

He told the House of Assembly on Friday night: "There has been a lot of talk but nothing coming from Government in the form of leadership.

"There was a pledge made three weeks ago that there would be a ruling or decision. The country is waiting with baited breath ...Our position is that they are illegal, what's the Government's position?''
