an elderly taxi driver on Friday night are responsible for a number of other attacks.

An investigation into the incident is being headed by Sgt. Antoine Daniels who has appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The 68-year-old cab driver, Warrington Zuill, picked up three males on the South Road near Tio Pepe restaurant between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday. He was driving a white space wagon. The three men are reported to have beat and kicked the driver about his head and body, leaving him bleeding on the side of the road as they drove off in his cab.
