The banks's shares dropped 90 cents or 2.8 percent to close at $31 on volume of just 200 shares while its warrants plunged 13.5 percent or $1.25 to $8 on volume of 2,500.

The drops offset a gain of 20 cents by the Bank of Butterfield, which closed at $16.50 on volume of 5,700. Bermuda Aviation Services closed up $1 to a new high of $8 on volume of 2,500. It was the first time the shares had traded since August 19.

Total volume of shares was 11,020 worth $141,670.
