A 27-year-old female complainant told Police she was standing outside a Front Street bar around 1 p.m. on Monday when a man approached and asked for directions.

The man -- described only as brown-skinned -- then allegedly grabbed her bottom, but fled in the direction of the Bird Cage after the victim screamed.

In a separate incident, Police are investigating a weekend break-in at Heritage House on Front Street, Pembroke.

A spokesman said an undisclosed quantity of jewellery and other items were stolen from display cabinets.
