Only two shares traded hands yesterday on the Bermuda Stock Exchange on the second day of slow trading this week.

The index was pushed up .44 percent or 6.27 points to close at 1,435.50 on a volume of 2,181 shares worth $62,439.
Out of these 1,981 were Bank of Bermuda shares which finished unchanged at $29.50. The rest were BELCO Holdings Ltd which closed at $20.00, up $1.25.
