Rumours that Hollywood legend Sean Connery is set to make his home in Bermuda have been dismissed as totally untrue by the actor's agent.

On Monday VSB television said that the former James Bond star had approached real estate agents here after selling his villa in Spain with a bid to settle in Bermuda.

But last night the golf-mad actor's publicist dismissed the rumour.

Los Angeles based publicist Nancy Seltzer told The Royal Gazette : "That rumour is totally untrue.'' Ms Seltzer would not confirm if Mr. Connery had looked at the possibility of moving to Bermuda only to be put off by the price of property on the Island.
