Ryan Andrew Brown, pleaded guilty to all four of the traffic violations against him.

Brown was already disqualified for a year for driving whilst impaired, when he was stopped by Police last October. He was due to go back on the road next month.

Magistrate William Francis fined Brown $600 for driving an uninsured bike, $400 for driving an unlicensed bike, $200 for driving without a valid licence, and $500 as well as further 12 months off the road for driving whilst disqualified.

Brown was apologetic, and produced a letter from his employer which the court heard explained how Brown needed transport in order to be able to do his job.

Mr. Francis replied that, especially if private transportation is mandatory, "anybody with common sense shouldn't drive if there's a whiff of alcohol on their breath''.

"Driving whilst disqualified is a serious offence and if you're unlicensed and uninsured you shouldn't even park your vehicle on the road,'' he said.
