World AIDS Day.

The Department of Health has set up seminars for schools, forums for teenagers and even a musical concert to mark the day, December 1.

All the events are organised by the Department's World AIDS Day committee, under the banner of "AIDS. It's not what you think, it's what you do!'' On November 27 there will be a quilt launching at the Masterworks Gallery and Teen Forums have been organised at the BIU Hall on November 28, 29 and 30. On November 30 there will also be a Public Forum at the Cathedral Hall.

December 1, World AIDS Day, will be a Red Ribbon Day with a Proclamation held on the City Hall steps. Radio phone-ins and interviews will also take place and an ecumenical service will be held at the Cathedral.

A concert will be staged at St. Paul's Centennial Hall on December 2. If any individual or group wants to help they should contact Ms Tina Evans Caines on 292-6384.
