after being accused of threatening a visiting couple with a gun. Police arrested the man at the Grotto Bay Hotel on Monday night after they were called by hotel security officers acting on behalf of the visitors.

He was then released on Tuesday after the complaint was withdrawn by the visitors.

The couple originally claimed that they got on a bus in Hamilton at around 9.15 p.m. on Monday for the trip back to their accommodation at the St.

George's Club.

On the way, the woman and a man sitting opposite her began talking. She then claimed the man pulled a gun out of his pocket and showed it to her.
