charged with the serious sexual assault of a 77-year-old woman.

The Warwick man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also faced nine other charges including three of assault, occasioning actual bodily harm; three of deprivation of liberty; robbery; burglary with intent; and stealing a car.

The charges relate to an incident last Sunday night at a property in Happy Valley Road, Pembroke, where the woman was staying with another female and a man.

The suspect, who was not required to plea, was remanded into custody to reappear before Magistrates' Court on April 19.
