According to a Police spokeswoman, the accident took place around 12.30 on Monday afternoon near Bridge Lane, Sandys.

The victim allegedly ran out of the Railway Trail and collided with an eastbound Mitsubishi Lancer on Middle Road, Sandys.

The woman also suffered a bruised right shoulder, and cuts to her knees, elbows, and lips.
