Liquor Store on South Road in Smith's Parish early yesterday afternoon.

Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said two men entered the store around 1.25 p.m. and held the female cashier up at knifepoint.

They then proceeded to remove an unknown quantity of cash from the till before they ran out of the store and headed in a westerly direction on a cycle.

The 61-year-old woman was not injured, but extremely shaken by the incident.

It is believed the two men were in the store for several minutes while other customers were present before the robbery.
