Red cross prizes just the ticket
summer at a special camp in England.
Red Cross director Mr. Frank Gamble presented Stephanie Darrell from Cedar Grove School and Andre Perinchief of Woodlands School with two British Airways tickets enabling them to attend a Red Cross Camp for the disabled.
The Junior Red Cross raised almost $3,000 to give the children the chance to attend the Activenture Camp in Surrey for the last two weeks in August.
Mr. Gamble said they raised the money by holding bake sales, car washes, trash-a-thons and even cleaned up Jews Bay with the KBB.
