Police spokeswoman Evelyn James Barnett reported yesterday that at around 8 p.m. the husband and wife were surprised by a man with a knife who walked into their Cavendish Close residence.

The robber demanded money from the man who told him there was none in the house.

The robber then went into another room and confronted the man's wife who gave him money out of her handbag. He then ran away.

The robber is described as being light brown-skinned, skinny, between 18 and 20-years-old and about five-feet, eight-inches tall.

He was wearing a red, long-sleeve shirt, black jeans and a dark hat.
