The woman told Police she was walking home in the Dock Hill and Palmetto Road area around 9 p.m. on Sunday when a man approached her from behind. The man produced a knife and demanded that the woman hand over her purse. Initially, the woman said, she refused to turn over the purse with undisclosed contents.

But the man continued to threaten her. He eventually grabbed her purse and ran off toward Dock Hill.
