The young Hamilton Parish girl said she awoke at just after 2 a.m yesterday morning to find her underwear off and someone touching her.

Police said the girl froze in fear while the man began to assault her again.

The girl shouted at him and he ran away.

The man was described as black, wearing a scarf around his head, approximately five feet, eight inches tall and of sturdy build.

Police investigations are underway.
