Damaia Waynette Dunkley graduates
On Saturday, May 29, 2004, Damaia Waynette Dunkley of Pembroke, Bermuda, graduated from The Forman School, a private boarding and day school for students with different learning styles. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Dunkley.
While at Forman, Damaia became very involved in the theatre productions on campus. Some of the plays that she was in include P.T. Barnum, West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Guys and Dolls. Damaia also participated in numerous talent shows; she sung in Spanish and Portuguese.
She was also a member of the girls' varsity soccer and basketball teams. For her efforts as the starting pitcher for the softball team, she was awarded the Coach's Award.
Damaia plans to return to Connecticut in the autumn to study at the University of Hartford.
