lost his cool and got involved in a fight.

Police officers were called to Glebe Road, Pembroke at 11.30 p.m. on October 8 following reports of an argument between some youths.

Crown counsel Veronica Daley told Magistrates' Court that as the officers arrived, the argument between Jahdel Aaron Edwards and another youth turned into a fight.

One officer was accidentally struck in the mouth as he tried to separate the pair and suffered a bruised lip.

Edwards, 18, of Orchard Grove, Pembroke, who admitted getting involved in the affray, told Senior Magistrate Will Francis: "I am sorry for getting into a fight. He hit me first and I wasn't in the right frame of mind.'' Mr. Francis gave him a conditional discharge.
