on the lookout for a man who abused the goodwill of two unsuspecting people over the weekend.

In each case the man appeared at the homes -- one on Cavello Lane, the other on Somerset Road -- and told the occupants that he was having car trouble.

He asked to use the phone and to borrow money which he promised to pay back but never did so.

The residents have reported the matter to the Police along with a description of the man.

Police have asked residents not to invite anyone with a similar tale of woe into their homes.
