demanding challenges on a 24 hour daily basis.

"My work never stops. I deal with about 200 staff. In addition to being on call 24 hours a day I act as motivator and counsellor to many of the staff,'' she advised.

Ms. Fox is trained in karate and self-defense and is confident when dealing with criminals. Her main focus at work is the scheduling of guard service and supervising the security guard control room. She is one of the key players in control around the clock.

In 1994 Ms Fox was fresh out of school and trained for the police force.

Instead of working for the police she opted to work with her present firm. She was assigned to airport passenger screening service where she examined baggage and people prior to airport departures. Later she became one of the first female cash escort drivers on the Island. Within four years she was promoted to her present position, operations manager.

The aspect of work which she finds most enjoyable is her interaction with people. "I love working here and I thrive on the responsibility. I have learned how to interact with every kind of personality including the components of the criminal. This is a career which I would encourage young people to pursue because you are given opportunity to progress,'' she said.

As a working mother of three children, ages 19, 16 and 10, life gets hectic for this young professional at times but she manages to handle it with help from her family.

"I have a lot of family support from my children and from my significant other, Wayne Kelly. He has always encouraged me to strive for the best!'' Although Ms Fox is a remarkably busy career woman she states that her children are her life. "Being with my children means everything to me. It is one of the ways in which I relax and my favourite way to relax,'' she beamed.
