Accident victim dies in hospital
after he succumbed to injuries suffered in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday.
Kenneth McDonald (Bobby) Dunkley Jr. died last night in hospital following a serious road accident in City of Hamilton early Saturday morning.
Mr. Dunkley was thrown from his bike after colliding with a Jeep at the junction of Court Street and Church Street and sustained serious head injuries.
Mr. Dunkley of King Street in Hamilton was driving north along Court Street at 12.30 a.m. when he collided with the Jeep, which was travelling east along Church Street.
He was rushed by ambulance to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was in a critical condition in the intensive care unit until he passed away.
The driver of the Jeep, a 25-year-old Hamilton Parish woman, was not injured.
Mr. Dunkley was the beloved son of Kenneth and Winifred Dunkley, and husband of Whillimae, and funeral arrangements are to be announced.
