stand trial on charges of assaulting a Police officer and using offensive language.

Wayne Perinchief, 24, of Zuill's Park Road, Smith's Parish, pleaded not guilty at Magistrates' Court yesterday to two charges of assaulting a Police officer and one charge of using offensive words in a public place.

Karen Thomas, 38, of Railway Trail, Southampton, also pleaded not guilty to the same charges which are alleged to have taken place at the Elbow Beach parking lot on November 19.

They were each bailed on $500 and ordered to reappear for trial at Magistrates' Court on April 26 next year.
