A 26-year-old Pembroke man told Police he was walking on Union Street at about 8.45 p.m. when two knife-wielding youths approached him and demanded his money.

A brief struggle ensued in which the man said he dropped his sweat shirt containing cash.

The victim said he managed to break free from his attackers and escape without injury.
