The new company, Parvus-Jerico (Europe) Ltd., will offer its services worldwide but will focus on the growing need for corporate security and investigative capabilities in western and eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Mr. Patrick Breslin, a spokesman for Jerico International, said: "Dublin was selected because of its highly educated work force, especially in the computer sciences, its location and well developed telecommunication facilities, tax incentives and its emergence as a major financial centre.

"We expect that the core staff will be largely Irish. They will be trained at the outset by experienced security professionals from two established American firms, The Parvus company and Information Security International Inc.

Parvus-Jerico (Europe) is expected to become operational during next month, with a Moscow office due to open in early 1993.

The Parvus Company, of Maryland, will serve as its exclusive marketing agent in North America.
