commercial helicopter company to provide aerial photography services.

But Bermuda Helicopters Ltd. will only have its leased Bell 206B JetRanger (correct) helicopter in the air for five weeks of the year.

"There's not much money in this sort of thing,'' said Mr. Smatt, who will pilot the helicopter himself. "I'm doing this for love not money. I enjoy flying.

"When you take everything into account, all the preparation and maintenance work, the business will only make about ten cents an hour.'' It cost over $14,000 just getting the helicopter to Bermuda from Canada, where it is owned by Pegasus Helicopters.

Mr. Smatt already has a contract with the Department of Tourism to take a photographer up in the skies to shoot scenic promotional shots of the Island.

Although he took up commercial photographer Mr. Scott Stallard and Panatel cameraman Mr. Reimar Fiedler last year, Mr. Smatt was required to incorporate a new company to continue the operation because of new requirements laid down by the Minister of Transport.
