Carla Landy, of Inland Lane, appeared in Magistrates' Court with no shoes and a ripped dress.

The 31-year-old, who had been in Police custody since Sunday night, told Senior Magistrate Will Francis she had been "tortured''.

And she denied the offensive behaviour charge.

Landy said: "I work there -- It was a dispute and I don't know why I am here.'' Mr. Francis released Landy on $500 bail and ordered her to return to court on August 14 for trial.
