Meanwhile, the main window of Serpentine Liquors was smashed in the early hours of yesterday morning as a thief attempted to gain access to the store.

A neighbour who heard the sound of breaking glass called Police. Officers investigated the scene and although it appears that the property was entered, nothing was stolen.

A Police officer saw the man grabbing the newspapers and stuffing them under his shirt. He then walked off and was immediately arrested and taken to St.

George's Police Station. All the newspapers were recovered.
