the Living and Community sections appear have been changed.

As of today the Community section will appear on Tuesdays while the Living section will appear on Wednesdays.

In addition to the weekly calendar, the Community section will also feature a new column called Community Tidbits containing short items of interest about the community and charities. (See Page 25 for that and Page 28 for details of deadline changes for the calendar).

The changes will also enable the newspaper to run colour pictures and graphics on the front page of the Living section each week while allowing the popular Sport section to have a front page of a section of the newspaper on every day of the week.

Other recent changes to the paper have included the addition of the day's high temperature on the front page, weekly columns by American journalists William Raspberry and Ellen Goodman on Page 4, expanded business coverage with the addition of the Bloomberg Business News service and the Young Observer page for children and teenagers on Saturdays.
