The downward movement came as a result of a 25 cent decline to $5.125 of the Bermuda Commercial Bank on trading of 410 shares.

Banking sector issues were the only ones active as Bank of Bermuda warrants rose 50 cents to $5.50 on a volume of 8,036.

The Bank of Bermuda closed unchanged at $28.50 on trading of 13,289 and the Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $16.25 on trading of 75 shares.
