on Sunday evening in a fund-raiser which produced goals galore.

Spectators were treated to plenty of action as a team of professionals, including the likes of Granville (Sam) Nusum, Gary Darrell, Ralph (Gumbo) Bean, Fred (Pinks) Lewis, Shawn Goater, David Bascome, Meshach Wade, Kentoine Jennings, Richard (Dirt) Simmons and Larry Darrell, whipped their North Village opponents 8-2.

Former Red Devils' skipper and coach Wendell (Woolly) Baxter gave his side an early lead but it was short-lived as Ralph Bean replied with a hat-trick while Goater and Dwight Warren hit two apiece.

The game was preceded by a match between Bermuda Under-15s and a Schoolboy Select. Money collected will be used to help send North Village pair Kofi Dill and Jemeiko Jennings to England on trials at Charlton Athletic and Luton Town.
