Bailey's Bay win tour friendlies

Club, in the Birmingham area on the weekend as they enjoy another tour of the UK in preparation of the new cricket season.

Glenn Smith, who is returning to Bay from Hamilton Parish, led the batting in the first match on Saturday with 76, which included six sixes and seven fours, as Bay scored 180 for six in their allotted 40 overs. Richard Foggo struck 47 and Anthony Braithwaite 23.

Halesowen were then dismissed for 82 as Braithwaite claimed four for eight from seven overs, Jermaine Outerbridge three for 13 and Dennis Pilgrim two for 29.

Bay also batted first in the second match on Sunday, scoring 220 for five in their 40 overs with Foggo scoring 66 before retiring and Devrae Hollis 31 before also retiring. Captain Noel Gibbons hit 44 and Kerry Tucker 28.

Hales replied with 104 for nine from 40 overs with Outerbridge claiming four for 28, Pilgrim two for 31 and Clarkie Trott two for 23.

Bay have already toured the Edgbaston Test ground and will visit London's two Test grounds, Lord's and The Oval, tomorrow.

They travel down to London today and will return to Bermuda on Thursday.
