Trio charged in wounding to face March court date

Gareth Randolph Bean, Curtis Anthony Grant, and Jerome Quinton Robinson yesterday pleaded not guilty to charges of wounding with intent to do bodily harm at the monthly Supreme Court arraignments.

Bean, of Cochrane Road, Sandys Parish, Grant, of Tween Walls, Sandys Parish, and Robinson, of Devon Lane, Devonshire, will be tried on March 6.

They have been linked to the beating of 24-year-old Shawn Stevens around 5 a.m. on November 11 at the junction of Church and Court streets.

The men were each further released on $3,000 bail with a like surety. They are also required to continue to report to Police three times a week and have no contact with the alleged victim.

Police still hold their passports.
