Inner circle to play at world rugby classic

coming to Bermuda next month to perform during the annual World Rugby Classic at National Sports Club.

Concert promoter Mr. Choy Aming and the Classic organisers are bringing the band in.

Mr. Aming said he was able to secure them because they would only be a short flight away in South Carolina, the first stop on their first North American tour.

The five-member band flies in on Wednesday, November 10, performing at 8.30 p.m. that night on the National's playing field.

Mr. Aming said tickets would probably be around $30 -- "I think the time has passed for the $45 ticket.'' The British band's number-one hits include "Make You Sweat'' and "Bad Boys'', songs which have topped the pop charts in dozens of countries including the United Kingdom, Portugal and Australia.

Their North American recognition accelerated to massive pop appeal when "Bad Boys'' was made the theme song of the hit US TV series "COPS''.

The band is just back from a Far East tour and taking part in singing star Peter Gabriel's tour.

Inner Circle has sold more than four million copies of its "Bad Boys'' album.
