The two-time winners of the Cup (1987-88 and '90-91) could not have asked for tougher opponents in unbeaten Vasco, who will be playing their second match in just three days.

Town, who lost to Vasco in their league match a month ago, have struggled this season but will find some encouragement in Vasco's surrendering of three goals in a 4-3 win over PHC on Tuesday night.

In Carlos Smith and Darron Simons, Town have a front pair capable of exploiting a weakness in any defence. But the quality of the Vasco defence would suggest they will have their work cut out for them.

Vasco, having won two of the last three finals, are expected to advance to the November 11 final against defending champion Boulevard, whom they beat in the 1994 and '95 finals.

Tonight's 7.00 opener is a Commercial League Cup B final between North Village Rams and Fire Service, the leaders ofthe Commercial League A Division.
